More and more DC-based money is walking up the I95 corridor in pursuit of Baltimore region commercial holdings. This time around, a partnership of Feldman Bergin Properties and Fortified Property Group of D.C. acquired the 9 building Columbia Business Center property, with space that includes offices, laboratory, retail and research components.
$25.6 million was paid for the complex on Dobbin Road in Columbia. The prior owner, Greenfield Partners LLC of Connecticut, paid $25.1 million in 2012 for the property.
Feldman and Fortified together now own 13 area properties in Howard County. They’ve been on an acqusition push together since 2017 have made 3 major purchases in the county since then.
The project is 84% leased with tenants such as Chiron Technology Services, DSM Nutritional Products, the Maryland MVA, Sherwin-Williams and a Sushi King.
