Elon Musk’s DC – Baltimore Hyperloop project continues to pick up momentum in the press. The official route has been mapped for the DC – Baltimore portion and is now on the website of The Boring Company, a project joint venture partner.
It is a 35 mile route from DC’s proposed New York Avenue, NE station to a Baltimore stop near Camden Yards. The route will take 15 minutes via the high speed train and will run right along the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.
There will be stops along the way for BWI Airport and most likely, a few other stations along the way.
Once the project gets going under its private funding, construction may only take 12 – 20 months.
