Europa, a 46 unit apartment project using a vacant parking lot at the corner of L Street and Potomac Avenue, SE, will be at 818 Potomac Avenue, SE. The building will include underground parking for 47 cars and a mechanical bike storage system for 25 bikes.
Phase II of the initiative on the block is an as-yet unnamed project with requested changes filed to the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) in August 2018. This will be a 33 unit overall project at 816 Potomac Avenue, SE, consisting of a 14 unit addition to be added onto an existing 19 unit project on the site. There will be no car parking on this site and residents will use the bike parking noted at Europa.
