A site that used to house the Medhane Alem Eritrean Church (above) at 150 S Street NW in Bloomingdale will transform into 8 townhome-style condominiums once out of Historic Preservation Review. The church was acquired for around $3 million back in 2017 and was recently demolished.
The townhome designs will likely be 3 bedrooms, 3 bath luxury residences with parking spaces and private roof terraces. Kadida Development Group is currently working with the Historic Preservation Review Board for concept review of the residential development slated for the property.
The Church itself has moved on to a new home on the 4000 block of Bladensburg Road.
