The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) will become neighbors to several thousand Kaiser Permanente employees at the New Carrollton METRO station.
A 2.5 million sq. ft. office development on METRO-owned land already includes Kaiser and will be adding on this satellite office for the WMATA. The transit organization will get an entire building directly in front of the station’s South entrance with 275,000 to 300,000 sq. ft.
The new location joins the WMATA’s headquarters in L’Enfant Plaza and their other satellite office planned for Alexandria in Northern Virginia.
